EIGHTIES Them How to add the date on the home page
-
Hello !
I need help in order to add the date of a post nad the “read more” button directly on the homepage (where all the posts are). I guess it shoud be easy but I struggle in it. I change the post format but the date of the post never appear. I know it’s possible to do because I can see it on other blogs using the same template. Where do I need to settle this option?
Thanks a lot for the help!
LiliThe blog I use is : http://www.espiegles.com

It looks like you’ve actually commented out the date in your theme files. For example:
<!-- <p class="entry-meta entry-meta-time"> <a href="http://www.espiegles.com/archives/3066" rel="bookmark"><i class="fa fa-clock-o"></i>9 Hours Ago</a> </p> -->
If you uncomment that back out your dates will reappear.
If you need further help, since you’ve installed the WordPress software on your own host (that’s called a “self-hosted” site), you should post over in the WordPress.org forums. These forums are for intended for folks running sites here on WordPress.com.
