I’m trying to use my “secret email” to sign up for a daily email subscription and have it automatically post to my blog, but it requires me to click on a link to confirm the subscription and begin doing so. Is there a way to access that email, or otherwise connect a blog to something like that?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is citychurchstl.wordpress.com.

Auto-posting won’t work – that is a favorite tool of splogs (spam blogs) so WordPress.COM has set their system up to make it very difficult to auto-post – they like original content here and not some copy and paste stuff.

After looking at the blog linked to your name:

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/

The blog I’m trying to figure this out for is actually http://citychurchstl.wordpress.com/

I have multiple and the .com one is the right one….

Re: spam blogs – totally get it. I’m trying to link it to a daily bible reading email subscription to post in addition to original content. So when you say they make it “very difficult,” is it still possible to do with good intentions?

    Thanks!

    No

If the other site has a RSS feed you can put a RSS Widget in your sidebar and see at most the first few words of the Post then visitors will need to visit the other site for the rest.
