enabling cookies error
I’m getting the ensble cookies error message. I saw something about that in the forums, but my question is somewhat different.
Everything seems to be working fine, and i can sign in, post ,edit, whatever – but it just tells me everytime about cookies, and it does bring me to the new person screen withe the ehlp video everytime.
I’m inclined not to mess with the cookies, because recently I had to have a relative who is a computer tech do some work on my computer after I had apparently been hacked in some way(that is another story). I’m inclined to think the cookies thing is part of the security on my computer now, to prevent further problems.
If everything seems to be working, do I really need to enable cookies?

If you are getting the white screen then everything is not working fine. You need to enable third party cookies in order to have full functionality.
I’m not sure if I am getting the white screen. I get the screen that has the welcome help video attached, and it acts as though I’m new everytime. Is that the white screen? Thanks for the reply. You seem to know much more than I do. about how these things work. So, I guess the querstion really is if I should worry about enabling cookies if not enabled already? I mean is there any security risk outside of wordpress, I guess. It would seem to me that there would be.
Otherwise, I can see the dashboard, post, see my blog…everything. Are you saying my blog thinks it is a new blog everytime because of the cookies not being enabled?
Thank you for the help.
