"ERROR: TWITTER DID NOT RESPOND"

    Hi guys,

    I’m having an issue with the following error message occurring on my homepage: “ERROR: TWITTER DID NOT RESPOND. PLEASE WAIT A FEW MINUTES AND REFRESH THIS PAGE.”

    I have the Wickett Twitter Widget installed, which states: “Future upgrades to Wickett Twitter Widget will only be available in Jetpack.”

    I have just updated the Jetpack by WordPress.com plug-in and still receive the same error message.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    The blog I need help with is biancadene.wordpress.com.

    I am also experiencing this problem. Added the jetpack plugin and updated WordPress to 3.5.2 but still getting the error message.

    Hello there! Both of you are on the wrong place to post your issues.
    Go to WordPress.org Support and post your problems over there.
    You should also consider the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. WordPress.com Vs WordPress.org

    Hey mckizzay, I was sent the following info when I contacted JetPack’s support team:

    “Twitter retired the API that was used to power this Twitter widget. To solve this issue, we developed a new Twitter widget, named Twitter Timeline, that you can use instead of the original Twitter widget, and that uses the new Twitter API.
