If you have a Platial map on Platial.com and want to put it on your WordPress blog, it is now possible to do so.

    1. Log on to Platial.com
    2. Under your map title on your homepage, or in the map header, click on “embed” or “publish.”
    3. Choose the WordPress logo and click next
    4. Copy the code into the widget control panel on WordPress.

I am a new WordPress user and just setting up my Blog. I’m still testing out themes and deciding whether to go with WordPress or stay with Blogger. I was trying yo use the Platial Mapkit to get a map up, but nothing seems to work. I follow the instructions, Save Changes, and it looks like it is saving, but nothing ever shows up. It doesn’t matter what theme I use, or where the widget is placed. Very frustrating. What am I doing wrong?

What browser and version? Is your version of Flash up to date? Can you try a different browser (try FIrefox).

I, too, am having this same problem as turtlestravel. I am using the most up-to-date Firefox and I have the most updated version of Flash, so I’m not sure why I can’t get the palatial widget to appear.

    Very frustrating.
