Export blog content to my computer

Hi. I just read everything I could about exporting my blog’s content, and using the export function, a zip file appeared on my computer. I want to know how to back up my blog’s content to my own computer.

I know that WordPress backs up everything, but I would also like to be able to retain and read posts in my own files. Ideally this would be as they are written, in the same font with photos and all, but I realize I’m probably only going to get bare text.

    Thanks for your help.

The blog I need help with is wildninjablog.com.

    Hi there,

To view your blog’s content as it is on your own computer (without internet access), you might want to install WordPress on your computer and import the content to the local installed site.

Usually WAMP (for Windows PC) or MAPM (for Mac) is being used for local WordPress installation.

Alternatively, you may consider converting your blog into a book or PDF. Here’s a site providing this service.
