expound theme and no columns?

  1. I am using Expound theme, but my featured posts appear in a list and not in 4 columns under the first featured post? How can I change this? I am on my laptop and not a tab so it is not a responsive issue?

Also my first featured post never changes even if I add a new featured post? the others are in order and I have not used 'sticky posts' on the first featured post?

  5. Looks like you need to assign the featured tag to the posts.
Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Featured Content.
Enter the name of a tag.
Click the blue “Save” button at the bottom.

After that's set, then do the following:

    Go to All Posts.
Click the box next to the 5 posts you want to show similar to the demo. There should be a checkmark.
In the drop down above the list of posts, change it to "Edit" and click the blue "Apply" button.
Additional fields will now be present. In the Tags box, type the name of tag you set up in the earlier steps.
    Click the blue "Update" button.

When you refresh your home page, you should now see it matches the demo.

  8. @stvwh
What is the URL of the blog in question?
It's not the blog linked to your username because that one is running Twenty Ten.
Is it a free hosted blog running the WordPress.COM version of the theme?
Is it the WordPress.ORG version of the theme running on a WordPress.ORG install?

  9. The blog is

  10. Right and that's not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog now is it? When you scroll down to the footer and click this link proudly powered by wordpress you can note that. You are posting to the wrong support forum. and are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names.

We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and not for software installs. If you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  11. OK.
