Facebook Like Button for Blog Itself- Not FB Page

    Hello All,
I have been researching this for a few hours and still cannot figure this out.

When I go to the facebook site to create the like button like I do for my blogger blog, and my regular website, and I put the wordpress blog URL in it, the like button says that 452 people like my blog/URL … but I don’t know how that can be when I can’t figure out how to get the button on there to begin with. I don’t have a FB Page but I want them to be able to click “like” for my blog URL and I would love it to be part of my side bar. Here is where I am getting my button from (or trying anyway): https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/

The blog I need help with is jessicacaracciolo.wordpress.com.

1 The plugins on the page here => https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ do not work here on WordPress because they have script. (java script is allowed on blogger and other hosts.)
2 You can not have a like button for your blog url to have in a like box/widget or a text widget here on WordPress.com.
The 452 likes means the people who liked your blog url you or someone else shared manually on Facebook.

Does your blog have a Facebook Page? If so, you can use the Badge code.

what is a badge code? I have a facebook page and had the same question

Here it is. Paste it to text widget.
