Facebook share button malfunction

  1. Over the last couple of weeks or so, my Facebook share button shows likes, but doesn't share.

    Mystique theme, this post:

The Facebook debugger scrape information says "fb:admins and fb:app_id tags are missing." I see where I can basically get that information from Facebook, but I have only minimal experience with html.

Please give me a play-by-play how to make sure I have the right code and where exactly to put it if that's the solution. Thanks for any insights.

The blog I need help with is

  2. You can have both a Facebook share button and a Facebook like button. See here

Ummm...maybe I'm missing something? When I follow these instructions. It all works well BUT it doesn't LOOK the same as the sample website. I just have a plain text box with the word Facebook in it. There is only limited room so I can't put Facebook Share. Am I missing something. There is not even the Facebook icon listed here that I'm seeing on the sample site.

I'm sorry to seem redundant but I'm not having a problem with the FB "Like" button. It's there and working brilliantly. I also have a FB like box in my side bar.

My question is regarding the FB Share functionality so that people can share links directly to a particular post.

Let me know if I'm missing something but I followed the instructions from these pages to get as far as I've gotten but don't see info on the specific FB share issue.

And let me add, I would really like FB Share w/share counts if that exists.
