    Hi,

    I am new to this theme. Where do I set to display my posts with a feature photo like the one on the demo?

    Please guide me through this!

    Hi Vanessa,

    It’s no problem, it can be a bit daunting when you first start but stick with it and you’ll be up and running in no time. There’s a great explainer on the featured images support page, so try that out and if you still need help let us know what you tried and where you got stuck.

    Thank you for your response. I have set features photo on my posts. Right now, my posts are display as the latest post on top, readers will be scrolling down to view older posts. However, I am wondering how do I display 3 posts (with 3 features photos) on a row, like what is showing on the demo page. Anywhere I can change this option?

    You currently have your homepage set to be a static page – the “About” page which is empty.

    If you follow the instructions on the theme page for selecting the homepage template you should be able to get it to look like the demo site. It takes a bit of setting up in the customiser but that page explains it in detail so hopefully you’ll be OK.

    I am able to figure out how to set up the homepage template. However, how do I edit the content on the homepage. How come it is showing the menu on the homepage ?

    Hi Vanessa,

    I noticed that you’ve set the same page (Publications) as your site’s front page and posts page. This will cause a few styling issues with your theme.

    As a first step to getting set up: Please publish two different pages. One that you want to use as your site’s front page and one that you want to use as your site’s posts page. Assign the Home Page template to the page you intend to use as your front page.

    Next, navigate to the Static Front Page panel of the WordPress.com Customizer. Check the option next to “A static page” and select the correct pages from the dropdown menus.

    After you have saved your changes, navigate to Theme Options > Homepage Template in the Customizer to add content there.
