Featured image in featured posts in Apostrophe
I love the featured image option in Apostrophe, and have had no problem using it on regular posts. As you can see on lonesomeroadreview.com, I use an image of the album cover for the album being reviewed—so the featured images are all square.
But when I feature a POST so that it will stand out, the featured image does increase in size, but it seems to be rectangular and cuts off the to and bottom of the picture of the CD covers.
Help please? Keep in mind that I am a beginner.
The blog I need help with is lonesomeroadreview.com.
That site is a wordpress.ORG software install.
I’m sorry but you are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here at wordpress.COM because that site is not hosted here and we do not provide support for sites we do not host.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Could you please post your question in the Apostrophe forum on WordPress.org:
When you do, please provide a link to an example of a rectangular image that’s “cutting off” other posts so we can test with it, since your front page has only square images at the moment.
As timethief mentioned, you’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:
