Featured Image not loading

I am having trouble getting the featured image to work on some of the subpages.

I am using Misty Lake theme. I have resized the picture to 619×464.

Here is my link to a subpage.

You should see a close up of a dog.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

The blog I need help with is gatheringmoments.com.

I can get the featured image to work on posts, but not on pages. The featured image support document says this about Misty Lake:

Thumbnail: 619 x unlimited height on home page and archive pages

I was going to highlight “home page and archive pages” in the quoted text.

? If you think that featured images in Misty Lake replace the regular header image, they don’t.

    Hi Rich!

So a featured image does not replace the regular image?

According to the feature image page:
With custom header images, you can display your own photo on your blog’s page headers. Featured images allow for even greater customization, giving you the option to display unique custom header images for specific posts and pages.

    So is this not true?

Does it only work on archive and the home pages?

On some themes, yes it does replace the header image, but not on Misty Lake. If you look at twenty ten you will see where it says that it replaces the header image on pages.

    Howdy Panos!

Well that is disappointing. But at least I know why I can not get it to work correctly.

Any options outside of changing from Misty Lake?

Thanks Rich and Panos for your help.

    You’re welcome.
In short, the Support doc on featured images is badly written and misleading.

Yes, the support document needs some lovin’. :)
