Featured Posts on Origin Theme
Hello Word Press,
I have changed the theme for my Nourishing Kitty blog and I don’t see where to create ‘featured posts’, either in widgets or in theme options? I would like to have several featured posts and the latest posts underneath, just like the theme image shows.
Any suggestions on how to get this going?
Thanks so much.
The blog I need help with is mutablemuse.wordpress.com.
Where is the link to the blog in question please?
The Origin theme description is found here > http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/origin/
live demo site here > http://origindemo.wordpress.com/
Featured images > If your post has a Featured Image set, it will display as a post thumbnail on the blog index. Post thumbnails are 154 pixels wide, unless you make the post Sticky, in which case they’re the full column width of 640 pixels.

Oh sorry, the site is http://www.nourishingkitty.wordpress.com. I marked the posts as sticky and set them with featured images too, but nothing.
Then I thought I was supposed to create pages with featured images, still nada?
The featured images must be exactly the size required by the theme or larger. If they are smaller then they will not display.
Hey nevermind–it works! I was going to a secondary page of the blog when viewing, totally missing the featured posts.
Thanks for your quick response.
Okay, I’m back-lol. My featured posts are set and showing up, but not as I thought they would. They are listed, one after another, rather than showing one featured post with the option to click on the 2nd or 3rd?
I don’t have any suggestions to make and I’m sorry I don’t have time to load a test blog and work out what’s happening for you because I have to meet a ferry. I’m flagging this thread so it will be moved to the Themes Forum where Themes Staff will help you.
Okay thanks. I thought I had posted to the themes forum originally? maybe not?
Anyway, I have believe I have followed all of your suggestions from two days ago, but I can’t seem to get it to work. So any other suggestions the Themes staff may have is truly welcomed.
