en WordPress.com Forums › Support Feed has no Author Posts March 9, 2013 at 10:24 am #1177313 rrvanleeuwenMember Why is it that the RSS feed, which wordpress creates for the blog, has no <media:thumbnail url=" tag? A lot of default RSS parsers are looking for that tag to produce an images in the reader. I’m talking about my blog hosted on WordPress.com itself. The blog I need help with is winontwikkeling.nl. March 11, 2013 at 6:04 pm #1177594 macmanxStaff media:thumbnail is used to provide a thumbnail image as a representative of non-image media, like audio or video. At this time, we do not have a way to select an image to represent non-image media, so the feeds do not employ the use of media:thumbnail.
