Here's a useful post for in house blog promotion. Also note that social networking tremendously expands the audience you can connect with. At the end of the day, if you do not use social media and social networks to promote your blog posts and blog, then you will find building a growing readership is more difficult as the audience you reach will be limited.

You can post a Facebook badge in your sidebar.

You can use a Facebook like box widget in your sidebar> Appearance > Widgets

You can also enable sharing buttons on your posts, pages and index pages.
    Also note the “like” button.

You can have Facebook like & share buttons on your posts.

You can use a Twitter widget >

You can post a twitter follow button >

You can set up Publicize and publish to your Facebook profile page >

Alternatively you can use Networked Blogs or RSS Grafitti for posting to Facebook wall.

  5. Your biggest problem with your blog attracting and retraining readers, commenters and subscribers is the fact that you have multiple embeds and images that increase page loading time. Page loading time is a page ranking factor. Studies demonstrate that the average internet user will wait for a page to load is 3 - 4 seconds. See here for Blogging: Strategies for reducing page loading time. See here for a 12 step DIY blog evaluation.

  6. Thats really helpful timethief thank you so much! I have posted this to off topic too auxclass.
