my views are down. I another blogger says the same. Quite a few countries normally included in my stats, have not been visible. Is it because wordpress is no longer available in certain regions. My stats were normally close to 200 on average. The last few days I have on an average 100 views, today only 78. Also can you tell me how to change the clock on the stat page to eastern standard time.

The blog I need help with is 1800ukillme.wordpress.com.

    Hello there,
The default timezone setting is UTC time. To change that to your own timezone you go here > Settings > General > and select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the dropdown you see there and then click “save changes”.

Thanks! Now how do I add my email address in my gravatar profile?

    Here you go > http://en.gravatar.com/

You basically have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

with reference to my question about adjusting my clock to my time zone above. when i go to settings, I don’t see ‘general’ or anything that would lead me to a listing of timezones.

Are you logging in under the username account that registered the blog in question?
Are you the Admin of the blog in question?
    Did you change your username?
Did you change your blog address?

okay i found the menu but now the area where it says to choose a city just has numbers next to utc. how do i find my city which is new york city in new york?

No to all of the above. I finally figured out how to do it. The settings that you spoke of were in the dashboard and not on the drop down menu. that’s why i couldn’t find it. then it took me a while to figure out how to get to the country and city part. not easy to navigate at all. but thanks for your help and quick responses.

You use the dropdown menu box to locate it and select it.

Thanks so much again and again! Another question: how do I change the choices of my posts displayed in the email that someone gets when I ‘like’ or comment on one of their posts.

Can a wordpress blogger tell when I’ve been simply looking at their blog, even though I haven’t pressed ‘like’, or commented?
