Finding a particular blog I follow

  1. I follow a few thousand blogs and when I go to "blogs I follow" in the reader, I can't just type in a keyword and have the blog pop up. I need to find that exact blog and change the email notification to "on" because I have them all off and I want only some to be delivered to my in box.

I do NOT know the URL nor do I want to try and find the url. Is there some way of accessing a list so i can type a keyword in? it's strange that it's not like this.

The blog I need help with is

  2. Locate the blog and bookmark the URL - problem solved.

  3. That's not what I want to do. I've already done that but id rather have an email so I know when there is a new post. Bookmarking takes way too much time to click and then discover ice already seen it and there's nothing new

  4. Then go to the blog by clicking the URL and subscribe to it.

Or go here and add the URL and click the + button after you do that.

  5. That's not what I'm after. I guess I'm not explaining it correctly. I'm ALREADY subscribed but the email notifications were turned off long ago. Now I want to be notified via email when there is a new post.

If I go to EDIT in BLOGS I FOLLOW, how do I find that particular blog in the list. There is no way to enter a KEYWORD to search for the blog in my list. So, how do I manage ONLY that blog's email notifications? How do I find it? How do I edit just that blog's email notification amongst the thousands I follow?

  6. There's a few reasons people follow blogs, but mainly it is to read them. If you aren't going to read most of the thousands of blogs you are subscribed to you maybe you should just unfollow them, then the ones you are actually interested in will be much easier to find when you search through the list.

Have you tried changing the Blogs I Follow list to the alphabetical option? Or going to the blog, unfollowing then re following and using the date followed option?

  7. Excuse me? I read them but there are certain ones I would like notifications for. I will figure this out on my own. I don't need snippy remarks in the forums.

  8. No one has been snippy to you here and I strongly suggest you stop launching passive aggressive personal attacks on those who are trying to help you

There is no keyword search at this link However, there are settings next to each URL you enter there to determine frequency of receipt of posts from the blogs you subscribe to.

  9. I'm not launching passive aggressive attacks. It's just that when someone says "If you aren't going to read most of the thousands of blogs you are subscribed to you maybe you should just unfollow them" that is snippy. I'm bowing out now. Thank you for your help.
