Finding the menue 'plugins' in the blog-admin-zone?

    Where can I find the plugins in my menue? Do I need a special version of WordPress?
    I’d be glad if you coul help me. Thank’s a lot and “sorry” for my english which maybe isn’t as good as it should be.

    The blog I need help with is xphilologie.wordpress.com.

    Your English is very good.

    There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers can’t install plugins for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ Also note that there is no upgrade you can purchase that allows FTP access and the ability to install plugins. Only those with WordPress.org installs can use plugins http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Ok. Thank you very much for your quick help and the compliment.

    After following the links my decision is clear: I will not pay 18$/year just for a blog.

    You don’t have to pay anything. The basic setup is completely free. Only the optional upgrades cost anything.
