Font color for the tagling

Hi! I’ve been changing the background color of my blog, and unfortunately while the text color will move from black to gray to white depending on the background, the tagline remains in light gray. I tried to fix this by publishing in an even darker color, but this meant the text went to dark gray and was basically illegible. : Is there a way for me to edit tagline/text color? I just want the text to be readable against the background. Thank you!

The blog I need help with is

    Hello @willoweithne,

Most themes have the ability to change colours without the need for CSS, which is ideal, but not if you intend change/style a specific line. And if I understand correctly, looks like you have explored the custom colours option limited to your theme already.

I am afraid you cannot change the tagline color. Advanced customisation options such as CSS (it helps you style your content) are available only with paid plans such as Premium or Business Upgrade plans.

What you can do without having to upgrade?
I suggest you try out a few background colours until you find the tagline is easy to read.
Preview a few different themes, may be in which you can add header images etc…

I have to add this: Your blog is PURE inspiration!

I hope I was able to answer your question. All the best.

Yes, I was afraid of that. I played around with the background until I got something that showed both text and tagline. It’s too bad; when I used to use Blogger, I could fool around with the HTML and make the background and text both whatever colors I wanted. Alas.

Thank you so much for the kind words, and for following my blog. :)
