Hi there, hoping you can help. I’m very frustrated with fonts. I would like to change my font to something more simple, however I’m being told I need to upgrade. What I don’t understand is why I received a fancy font to begin with if I have to pay for it, and if I do, why can’t I switch to the most basic font? Doesn’t my theme come with a basic font? Thanks .

The blog I need help with is

If the theme comes with other font options it will be found under

    Appearance > Theme Options >

Otherwise, as you learned, an upgrade is needed.

Thank you. I figured as much… What’s really confusing though, is that I currently have 2 different fonts (one I use just for the byline of my site title) but I am unable to make any changes. I want to make all font consistent with one I already have, but there’s no option for that. And when I choose other themes, I’m still stuck with the same font.

Note: These are 3 ways to change fonts on blogs.
    (1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the HTML editor.

    (2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor.

    (3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support.
