Foodist Colony Widget

On foodistcolony.com, they provide code to place a widget on your blog that is a scrolling menu. This is the code:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.foodistcolony.com/Widget.aspx?t=miniguide&u=D72E3CEC-338C-4AAE-B9DF-A94F4B296887"></script>

It doesn’t work though when I try to put it in a text box in the widget section. I don’t know anything about codes, but can someone at least explain to me why it’s not working, if not how to get it to work?

It’s not working because it uses javascript, which is stripped out for security reasons, as are flash and iframes.

If there’s an html version you could use that.

This is javascript code, and javascript is not allowed at wordpress.com due to security concerns: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/javascript-can-i-use-that-on-my-blog/
