Forever Theme CSS Customisation

    I’m using the Forever theme on the free WordPress site. When I search to find out how to customise the theme slightly all the answers are about editing the CSS. Is it possible to do this on a free site without any upgrades? How?

    Hi there, it depends on what you are wanting to do. You might want to review the Forever Theme Showcase page, which explains about the features of the theme.

    Link colors can be changed at Appearance > Theme Options.

    You can upload and activate a custom background, or set a background color at Appearance > Background.

    You can add a header image at Appearance > Header and also change the text color of your site title.

    Let us know what you are wanting to do and we can see what we can see if the changes you wish to make are doable without the Custom Design upgrade.

    I am looking to delete the header image on only my static home page. I want it to show up on all the other pages and am having trouble finding code that will work.

    Please help!

    Hi melissaandbrek –

    This should hide the header only on the homepage:

    .home .custom-header {
     display: none;

    If you have further questions, could you please start a new thread and include a link to your site? Thanks.

    Thank you! It worked perfectly!

    Great, glad that did the trick!
