Formatting the Secondary Heading on the Recent Posts Column

    Hi,

    I added the Secondary Heading plugin to my website. After I altered the formatting for the secondary heading on the blog post, the secondary heading on my recent posts on the right side of the page was reformatted as well and now appears bigger than the primary heading. Any ideas for how to fix this? I’ve been Googling it for an hour and my head is about to explode.

    Hello,

    I found a fix for the text size formatting problem. Go into your CSS customization and add this text

    li a span[style]{
    font-size: 16px !important;
    }

    That should override the sizing for the secondary headings.

    Let me know if you have any questions.

    Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I don’t have a technical background so: where is the CSS customization? Is this specially for the recent posts?

    That’s not a stupid question at all. Took me a while to find it the first time I went looking for it.

    The CSS is not specifically for recent posts. It can effect your entire site depending on property being modified with the CSS. The code that I wrote is pretty specific to what it will modify, and should only effect the text in your recent posts list.

    To find the CSS customization section click on the “My Sites” link on the top left of your word press, and then under Personalize, Themes, click on the Customize button. Once there, on the left hand side is a tab labeled CSS, that is where you can find the CSS customizer. Add the text into the window on the left, and click save. That should solve the text sizing issue.

    Let me know if you have any questions.
