I’m a basic user. I created a blog (X.wordpress.com) that I want to keep. Now I want to host X.com through WP (just the upgrade service, not the one where you need to host your site elsewhere) too but I want to keep both under the same email address. Is that possible and if so how?
When we create a WordPress.com username account the email address we use to create it with becomes our unique identifier. When we are logged in to WordPress.com every blog we register under that username is registered to that same unique identifier (email address). Therefore if you register two blogs or three or four provided you are logged into WordPress.com under the same username and email they will all appear under the same username and email account. When we purchase a domain and domain mapping it’s important to know that WordPress.com does not provide a domain email service. WordPress.com bloggers can send and receive email from their mapped domains using Google Apps for Domains.
