Free domain - want to change it

  1. I got a free domain when I upgraded. The free domain is oakparkmarriagetherapist. Now I am wishing I would have called it oakparkmarriagetherapy. I am still in the 48 hours to cancel. Does anyone know if I will still get a "free" domain if I cancel this first one? Or am I going to have to pay? Or, even better, is there a way to change the one I already have, rather than cancel and re-setup?

  2. I don't know what you mean by a free domain and I have been here for over 6 years. The top level domain here is and all blogs here are free hosted on sub-domains. We can purchase a domain through in two ways:

    1. a domain mapping upgrade

    2. a bundle upgrade which includes a domain mapping upgrade in it

  3. oakparkmarriagetherapist is not an URL for either a sub-domain or a domain - is a URL for a sub-domain that doesn’t exist is a URL for a domain that exists but it's redirecting to this domain http://

    I have flagged this thread for Staff assistance with sorting this. Please be patient while waiting for their help.

  4. Thanks again, timethief. What happened was that when I bought the bundle for, it told me that they were giving me a special offer of a free domain for 1 year, regularly $18, I think. So I accepted the offer and without thinking enough about it, called it - for the purpose of just mapping it (is that the right word) to But then I realized it would be better to have

  7. Thanks, macmanx! I do want to cancel BUT ONLY if I can still have the free domain that prompted me to do this. If that is possible, then I will accept the offer and cancel, and use instead. If I would lose the free domain for some reason, then I will just have to leave it as-is. Please let ME know how to proceed now. Thanks so much!
