funky code under leave a comment

  1. I have pretty much got the blog looking how I like (or at least as good as my "skill" level will let me make it) but when you are on a page to comment.. right under "leave a comment" there is some funky code and I have no idea what it is or how to get rid of it. not sure if my blog addy will show up but it's

  2. Snazzy-looking blog!

    Here is the code:

    Line and paragraph breaks automatic, e-mail address never displayed, HTML allowed: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <code> <del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q cite=""> <strike> <strong>

That's just info to tell people who want to put code in their comments what code the blog will allow. If you look under the "Leave a Reply" box here in the forum you'll see a similar list that reads:

`Allowed markup: a blockquote code em strong ul ol li.
You can also put code in between backtick ( ) characters.

  3. Oops, guess it didn't like that. Anyway, only the last bit messed up and you can just scroll down in the thread below the box to see what it says.

You can have different instructions in your Comments if you switch themes, but they're hard-coded into that theme and I don't think you can do much with them, if anything.

  4. thanks :) I'm not about to mess with switching themes right now LOL... I was up until 3 in the morning messing with that one!
