GATEWAY THEME – FEATURED CONTENT

    For the life of me can’t get the featured posts to appear on gateway theme, nor will three latest post appear in lieu of a featured TAG, at the moment I would be happy with just the three latest post but neither will work. – Is this only possible with HTML?

    Sure thing! You’ve almost got it. :)

    The featured tag or three latest posts will appear on a page set to front page that is also using the homepage template. You currently have your About page set to be the front page, but the template isn’t set yet.

    If you want to use the About page on your front page, open the editing screen for the page, then under Page Options for Template, select Homepage. (There’s a screenshot of what that looks like here.)

    This is Step 1 under the “Homepage Template” section on the theme’s page here. There are some other pieces to the front page you may want to configure that are explained in the steps on the page too.
