Getting Adsense

I really like wordpress’ interface and I want to use it creating my blog. However, there’s a guideline that clearly states that adsense is not allowed in wordpress.com. Now, since I like the wordpress tool to make my blog and there’s an option to map my website in let’s say godaddy or namecheap does this allow me to use adsense? yes or no? Because I’m just using the wordpress tool but my site example.com is hosted by another company.

No, domain mapping only makes your site here appear with your own domain name. The same rules and restrictions apply since your site is still hosted here.

What you have to do is to self-host a wordpress.ORG installation at a third-party web host such as godaddy, dreamhost, bluehost, etc. Figure an average monthly cost of $10 to $25, all things considered. Also, the majority of bloggers don’t cover their hosting costs with ad revenue, and especially with adcents (intentionally misspelled).

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll check wordpress.org.
