Posted this yesterday, but can’t find it.

Again, how do I get rid of ‘recent’ on my page? Just want the catagories and archives.

If you go to your Admin => Presentation => Sidebar widgets, you can drop and drag what things you want to show in your theme including just your categories and your archives. There is an FAQ about sidebar widgets located at:

I saw that page, but a day or so ago I saw another page, with three block at the bottom. Does it change based on which template you use??

    Removing widgets
Drag the widget to the bottom right corner of the Sidebar widgets box. Drag it into the Available widgets box carefully allowing all the other widgets to move over and come to rest before let the mouse button go. Click the “Save Changes” and view your blog.

Each theme is unique. Some have no widgets at all. Some have footer widgets but most have sidebar widgets. When you change themes you usually have to re-arrange your widgets. This is an in-depth post about widgets that may be helpful.

Which theme do you have up? Could you please provide a link to your blog so we can do a better job of helping you?
