Give us just a little bit of CSS to customize

  1. I understand that you're having people pay for customizing their CSS. It's great value to be able to customize your theme and a price can rightfully be charged for that.

But what about those people who just want to change the size of their tagline? Or their list icons? Or the margin for inline images? Simple things.

What do you think about the idea to allow users to use a maximum number of characters of custom CSS for free? That would allow people to make simple changes while still retaining the value of a custom CSS upgrade. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

  2. Hi there!

You're more than welcome to pass on your idea directly to staff via this contact link →

  3. @raincoaster: I don't think this type of functionality would/should mean 'isolating your blog from the others' as you say in the topic that your referring to. Such a small piece of CSS could easily be stored in the options table of the database and than injected into a <style> element on every page load.

@slikbonez: I thought ideas had to be posted here? The contact page doesn't seem to be about feature requests...

  4. The contact page IS the contact page for staff. There's only one, regardless of the issue.
