Google 1 sharing button behaving incorrectly.

HI,
Until the last 48 hours the Google +1 button on posts was working fine, clicking it would ‘+1’ the post, also giving the option of posting the article to Google+.
Now, though, the button has changed to a “share” button that only allows sharing of the post, not +1-ing it.
This isn’t a change Google has made as the +1 button is still available.
+1-ing is akin to Facebook ‘Liking’ something, it’s a way for users of Google+ to show appreciation for a post, without necessarily filling their timelines with re-posts of everything they like online.
Is there a way to revert back to the simple +1 button? Or, if this is WordPress implemented, does this mean readers will soon not be able to Facebook Like something without re-posting it too?The blog I need help with is electronicrumors.com.
