Google Analytics For WordPress Problem

    Hi,

I have setup ‘Google Analytics For WordPress’ plugin correctly to one of my website. But for some reason, no events are being tracked inside Google Analytics and I want to know why.

When I login to my Google Analytics account and look under Conversations>>Goals>>Overview it’s not tracking any goals instead its saying that I need to setup goals (events) first and the plugin I mentioned is meant to do that automatically but it isn’t working.

    Can anybody experience this problem?

Can anybody help me fix this issue?

    Thanks

    Additional Info
    Can I use Google Analytics?
No, Google Analytics cannot be used on WordPress.com blogs at this time. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

See here for a full comparison WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes.
If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

You need to read what gets a blog suspended here:

The website is not a free hosted site, here’s the domain ‘http://howtotightenvaginanaturally.com’.

Actually I see the traffic for each day in this domain using Google Analytics but the issue is no events are being tracked inside Google Analytics and I want to know why.

When I login to my Google Analytics account and look under Conversations>>Goals>>Overview it’s not tracking any goals instead its saying that I need to setup goals (events) first and the plugin I mentioned is meant to do that automatically but it isn’t working.

Can you help me to fix this issue?

But @RC, look at how much humor they bring to the forum, but yes I do feel sorry for their clients that get screwed by bad advice or the hours they spend in the forum because they have not a clue

OMG! Don’t get started! There is so much and so little to work with here in terms terms of improv comedy that I’m bookmarking this thread.
