    Simple question.

What do I have to do to my current set-up to allow plug-ins. Specifically, I want to add Google Analytics. I would also like to add an eCommerce plug-in.

I can’t figure out what to do except that I have to do something. And “self-hosted” and “WordPress.org software” don’t help me. I don’t know how that compares to what I have now or what I would need to change to make it work.

And I want to make it work!

Help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

The blog I need help with is stegmansoldboys.com.

Hi there, you won’t be able to use either plugins or e-commerce here on WordPress.com.

If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality on your site, you will need to migrate to a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation (or another service of your choosing). There are no restrictions on e-commerce if you set up a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. Please see this link to learn about the differences:
