Google/Flickr Error on WordPress blog?
Today when I tried to visit my blog or log in, it says “The requested page could not be found. Page not found – /royal_rep”. This is actually an improvement!! Sometimes when I try to log in to the admin portion of my WordPress blog, which is part of my website, it gives me a “Page Not Found” error by either Flickr or Google.
It is located at http://www.mandysroyalty.org/royal_rep, so how could a 404 be generated from Google/Flickr? My main website (http://www.mandysroyalty.org) is ok, but the link to the WordPress blog, whether to view it or to log in, comes up with a 404. This is a totally random occurrence. It all started when I updated WordPress with its latest version via FTP. It was two versions ago.
What is going on? Flickr told me they resolved the problem, but when I asked what the specific problem was, no one ever answered me. Can anyone here help?
Your web site at http://www.mandysroyalty.org, isn’t hosted by wordpress.com. So you need to ask the question over at wordpress.org. You can read the sticky thread to learn the differences between wordpress.com and wordpress.org.
My site is hosted by Siteground. They provide Cpanel, which gives me my file manager and area in which to see stats, subdomains, etc. There is one particular tool called Fantastico. It automatically installs scripts regarding blogs, photo albums, and Content Management. For blogs they give me the options of WordPress, b2evolution, and Nucleus. So I chose WordPress.
It is found on my main website, and it’s path is /royal_rep. It is not WordPress hosted, but Wrodpress IS installed. I hope this makes sense; things are very confusing right now with this problem. :)
Since you’re website is no hosted here at wordpress.com we will not be able to help you
because are software is different…
