I am trying to apply a new gravatar photo from a registered user to previous posts. How do I do this?
Example: My wife has entered hundreds of posts into the blog, but decided today to add a photo as a gravatar. When she posts a new post the new photo shows up, but how do I apply the photo to previous posts that didnt have a gravatar photo?
The blog I need help with is burgersbeachhouse.wordpress.com.
It appears then that the change is not retroactive.
Well yes, I am aware of that, thats why I am asking if there is a way to do this, easily.
but how do I apply the photo to previous posts that didnt have a gravatar photo?
Thanks for the reply, another memeber just contacted me on how to do this. Simply log into the account, then retype the email address and click apply. The new pic now appears!
I’m aware of how to edit a gravatar image and I never advise that anyone shares their sign on information with anyone else. You appeared to speaking on your wife’s behalf and that made me shut right down.
You stated it “cant” be done.
Clearly it can.
I wasnt speaking on my wifes behalf, I stated that she had entered hundreds of posts, and needed to change her gravatar to a photo. Im not sure what you mean by the post “made me shut right down”?
So, yes it can be done, and is easy to do.
Thanks for your time.
I apologize for misunderstanding you. I thought you were asking to do this on behalf of your wife. i assumed if she need help she would be doing the posting here – not you.
Note: Gravatar and blavatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change. Do not keep uploading! If several days have passed and that change is not in evidence then post here for Gravatar support > http://en.gravatar.com/site/contact-us/
