Hacked – this site cannot be accessed
Our WordPress account and our Domain account were hacked in the last few days. We have recovered passwords and reset them but the website is not working, and I cannot see any of our website files/pages in WordPress.
There is a red exclamation mark next to our account name and logo. When I click on it a red bar displays saying This site cannot be accessed.
The blog I need help with is qest.org.au.
It looks like your site is using the standalone WP software and is hosted with OVH Hosting and not here on WordPressdotcom.
Are you using the Jetpack plugin on your standalone WP site? If so, when you say there is a red exclamation mark, do you mean here on WordPressdotcom in your plugins dashboard? https://wordpress.com/plugins/
For assistance in reinstalling the Jetpack plugin please consult with their support documentation at https://jetpack.com/support/ or support forums at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack I’ll also go ahead and tag this thread for Staff assistance.
Looks like you’re able to properly reconnect Jetpack.
Please let me know if you’re still getting those connectivity errors.
As always, thank you @justjennifer for notifying us and for all the instructions you provided :)
Have finally gained access thanks
@qestqestorgau Thanks for coming back and letting us know. I’ll go ahead and mark this issue as resolved.
@fstat-my pleasure. :)
Your site is connected correctly on WordPress.com and I don’t see any connection errors.
If you’re still having trouble, I recommend reconnecting it by following these instructions:
