Having Pages with Posts/Catergories On Them

  1. Sorry to ask another question so fast, but is there a way to have pages on my site with posts on them
Example: I have a page called "Video Games" and i write a article about a video game. I choose a category and then it shows up under that page.
I ask this because i am trying to make a site map of my blog and it doesn't read categories for some reason.
    any help would be great

The blog I need help with is

  2. i feel like a complete dumbass, so lost lol

  3. i am reading these posts via the search results and i can't seem to understand what they are trying to do.
I just want to be able to set it up that when you go to a page, it has the posts on it.
sorry if i sound stupid, i have been up all night trying to sort it out.

  4. See this post by Panos which explains things.

  5. please re-read what I posted. PAGES cannot have posts. POSTS are different. If you want to direct people to, say, everything on your site to do with Donny Osmond, then make Donny Osmond a Category or Tag and put that in a Custom Header.

  6. rain you posted a link, nothing about you couldn't do it. all the links that where present in the search results has info about static pages and so forth.

i will just map out my own sitemap.xml for categories and what not.
    thanks both of you

  7. You DON'T have to do that. Read the article by Panos that I referenced. It tells you exactly how to do it. Literally millions of people are doing this here, just as Panos explains it.

  8. I'm afraid I don't quite get what you've just said. Do you understand what a page vs post is? Have you read the links posted in this thread?

  9. thesacredpath, thank you for your link!! That was the information I've been trying to find but couldn't. Thanks again!

  10. You are welcome.
