header logo link to homepage

  1. Hi,

    I would like to link my header image to my homepage, but i can't find an option for it. Can someone please provide CSS or a way for me to do so. That would be greatly appreciated!

  2. You blog is NSFW = not safe for work. Please unlink it from your username and get your support directly form Staff. Here’s the link After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.

  3. Actually you blog is not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog and given the contents I'm prepared to flag you as a spammer.

  4. Okay I had a second look and you have removed the link to in the footer of your blog. That is NOT allowed.

    May I remove the ‘Blog at’ credit in my site’s footer?
    Although the Custom Design Upgrade certainly grants you the capability to hide the credit from your site’s footer, you are not permitted to do so. Even our VIP bloggers are required to maintain the credit.

    As I said above we you must go directly to Staff for support.

  5. Hi timethief... I've been running an art blog through word press for almost two years now. I would very much appreciate not being flagged as i have thousands of people that follow my blog and many respected art magazines and galleries i stay in touch with through it.

  6. Thanks timethief, I will look into adding the back. i need to look into how to do that.

  7. I did not appreciate clicking into a NSFW site. I have reported your blog.

  8. i did not write the oringal code ot my blog. can you please tell me how to bring back wordpress footer. it seems to show in safari, but not firefox.

  9. You have to create a transparent PNG image the exact size of the header image and then upload that to your media library, put that image into a text widget and link it to your main page. When you have that done, let us know and we can help with getting it moved up and over the top of the header image.

  10. Hi thesacredpath,

    I am ready. the transparent PNG image is in a text widget at the very bottom of my page. Let me know!

  11. For reference, the theme is K2-lite. I don't see how to re-position it just yet though. Need to work on my positioning skills...

  12. This was a little tricky and I'm still not positive it will work on the actual site, so add this to the very bottom of your CSS and give it a shot.

    #header {
    position: static !important;
    .secondary {
    position: static;
    #text-15 {
    left: 0;
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
  13. Thank you! That seems to do the trick!

  14. Nice!

  15. @boxandline, you are welcome. Make sure and check on single post pages and any static pages you have to make sure things worked there as well.

    @designsimply, thanks. It took some head scratching.

  16. It does seem like a pretty common question.... so I'm looking for ways to make it easier in the future and also trying to keep an eye out for more common requests. :)

  17. it seems to work on all pages. i've checked single posts and archived pages... Really appreciate the effort.

  18. You are welcome. In that theme it seems like every element has a position: relative declared so to get it to work I had to change those back to "static" so that I could get it actually up and into the header area and on top of the header image.
