I uploaded a header picture to my blog/article page and a couple articles,
the format is just like your “home page” that has a header picture and many brief articles with pictures side by side under the header.
Unfortunately, the header picture I uploaded doesn’t show up on my article/blog page. It’s just a dark gray picture on my header.
A featured image assigned to the (formerly static) page assigned as the blog page will not be displayed on a site using the Dyad 2 theme. A primary feature for the blog page on Dyad 2 is the Featured Content Slider. For those who would prefer to use a single header image instead of the slider the “Alternate Header Images” section of the Dyad 2 theme guide applies. It says:
If no posts have the Featured Content tag that you set in the Customizer, Dyad 2 will display your tagline over the Custom Header Image if one was uploaded. A Custom Header Image can be uploaded by going to Customize → Header Image.
So you may display a custom header image instead of that dark gray background presently atop your blog page, but not a featured image.
