Header Will Not Change

Hello! Thank you, ahead of time, to anyone who can help me.

I am using the Gateway theme for my blog, and I am trying to change the header image. I have zero blog posts or pages on my blog as of yet (just opened it today). I have gone into Themes > Customize > Header Image and changed it there to what I want it to be. It *shows* that the image I changed it to is the current header, but it's not. For some reason the site is keeping the top suggested header instead of the one I have uploaded. I have attached screen shots below. All of my other settings are pretty much at the default, because I haven't gotten to do a whole lot of editing yet. Also, I have tried to fix this in both Google Chrome and IE.

Screenshot 2: http://i.imgur.com/y71hmUi.jpg (see what's actually being published)

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong? Thank you for your help!

The blog I need help with is thenerdywifeblog.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi,

It looks like you might have resolved the issue by removing the default featured image, is that correct? This issue, and others regarding default featured images, are commonly reported ones that one hopes will be addressed soon in the theme guides and support pages.
