Help!!

How do you put pictures as thumbnails on pages, in posts etc. I’ve tried a thousand different ways and none of them have worked. Also, how do you put blogs on your pages, there’s got to be a way and I don’t know it. Please help me with these questions thank you.
P.S. The Custom Filed “solution” doesn’t work for thumbnails for the theme I’m using.

It’s not possible to “post” to a page. Pages are static entities that only can be edited. Consider using posts and categories instead if you are using pages for several different subjects”
but thanks to the new feature Appareance->Menus you could design a kind of a page in selecting a category in your personal, menu…. and then post through a specific category… -
That didn’t help, I want pictures to be thumbnails on the home page…do you know what I mean??

How do you get themes that aren’t offered through WordPress that are offered through blogetery??

May be you want to add pictures on sidebar? If it is, you can use the image widget.
Or, if isn’t, “star blogging”. You’ll learn step by step.And, i’m sorry, I don’t know what is “blogetery”

Never mind:P Is there any theme that has pictures scroll on the home page? Has a video of the day feature? A highlight reel, etc??

Is there plug-ins in WordPress because it doesn’t have a tab saying there is??

You cannot use plugins on a WordPress.com blog such as the one linked to your name.
You cannot apply an external theme to a WordPress.com blog either.

Also, we cannot use themes from outside wordpress.COM. We are limited to the ones that show under appearance > themes.
Since everyone here has a “menu” listing under “appearance” in their dashboards, perhaps you could give us a link to the blog you are talking about.

Blogetery.com actually has plug-ins. It has over 100 different themes. The only negatives are: There is no menus option under appearance. There is no way to get pictures as thumbnails on the home page…at least I can’t find a way. There’s a few other negatives. I wish that WordPress.com had all the themes and plug-ins that Blogetery.com has…it would be perfect!!

So, you’ve been asking for help on a Blogetery.com blog all this time? Why don’t you ask over there?
WordPress DOES have plugins and over a thousand themes, but those are for WordPress.org not WordPress.com
