help – broken HTML in photo caption?

    Hi all –

I’ve been having a problem recently with captions on my blog, Etsyhound. When I insert an image from a URL, I always do it the same way — paste in the image address, type in the info about the image for the description, and link back to the original page where the image is from.

Most of the time, it works. But lately, I’ve been having a problem where instead of giving me a nice little caption box, it will just show up as broken code around the image.

In case this doesn’t make sense.. here’s an example of a blog post where all the captions WORK:

But here is a post where the weird code is showing up around a few of the images (scroll down to the picture of the dog in a houndstooth coat or the picture of a felt yellow lab toy):

I created these captions using the exact same method as the others. It seems totally random which ones work and which ones don’t.

Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong, and how to fix this?

I can clearly see the problem but can’t help you. I’m replying so that a Volunteer or Staff who can answer it will see your thread and help you.

Hm, ok… thanks, I guess. anyone else want to help?
