Help changing font colour!

    I have no idea why I can’t work this out, I’ve copy and pasted lots of CSS but no luck. My site I would like to know how to change the colour of the white text over the featured picture? Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is

    Hi there, CSS is theme specific, so unless you were getting the CSS from a thread of the same theme, it would likely not work. The following will allow you to change the colors on all the text over the featured image.
    /*site title color*/
    .site-title a {
    color: #cc0000;
    /*site description/tagline color*/
    .site-description {
    color: #ffa100;
    /*featured post date*/
    .featured .posted-on {
    color: #00ff22;
    /*featured post title*/
    .featured-title a {
    color: #a100ff;

    I never knew, so thank you! That’s worked fine. I have some reading up to do but I’m on the right track with this theme at least. One other thought is it the numbers in the css code you have typed that relate to the colours?

    Yes, the #a100ff and the like are hexadecimal color codes. There are also other ways to specify colors as well, but hex color codes are used more than others.

    You can play with this color picker. It’s kind of fun. Typically you want to use the ones that are listed as web smart as those will display properly on all systems and browsers.
