Help in Archiving, Please!
I am trying to archive my posts by month. I have the monthly breakdown in my sidebar, but because I only allow 2 posts per page I can’t see ALL of the post in a particular month. I need someone to dumb down how to list every post for each month in my archive sidebar…I must be a complete idiot, because I can’t figure this out for the life of me…I appreciate your help. I feel SO dumb right now!!

The blog I need help with is beforeandafterdiy.com.
When we publich a post it is also automatically published to the Archives pages and to the Categories and Tags pages that we assigned to any post – we do nothing – the software does it all. We place an Archives widget in the sidebar and VOILA!
Widgets » Archives Widget
Some themes provide full posts in Archives and on Categories pages and some do not. Some provide titles only, some provide beginnings of posts and a couple provide thumbnails. We cannot edit templates or themes and the display that we get on Archives Pages and Categories Pages is coded into the template. Your only option is to chnage to a theme with full posts displayed.
In any case whatever the format of the displayed posts, if you set your front page to display only two posts, then readers will see only two posts on categories (or tags) pages and archives pages. You can’t change that.
A theme like Imbalance or Suburbia (and possibly similar magazine style themes) will allow readers to “load more posts.” Oh, and if you use Twenty Ten or Twenty Eleven (w/o footer widgets) readers can use the infinite scrolling…
You don’t actually need a static front page to use the archives shortcode: you can place it on a page in your navigation or make a page in a menu widget so readers can access a list of post titles per month.
thank you SO much!!!
