    Hi
    I’ve purchased the Custom Design but I’m a complete novice at CSS :( have tried reading the tutorials but I’m still not getting any closer to understanding how to write CSS!
    Could anyone help me figure out how to reduce the size of the font of my header? I love the font and the look but because my title’s so long, the header appears really huge. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!

    My blog is http://thesalonierresapartments.com/

    The blog I need help with is thesalonierresapartments.com.

    Actually…*sheepish face* I think I figured out how to reduce the font size through Custom Design. But what I really need to know now, however, is if there’s any way of getting the three words of my blog title to line up next to each other.

    At the moment, it’s reading The (followed by a break) Salonierre’s (followed by another break) Apartments. What I’d like to do is get rid of the breaks so it reads The Salonierre’s Apartment on just one row. I hope that makes sense!!!

    Thanks so much in advance for the help!!

    No need to be sheepish! CSS makes no sense whatsoever at first. Keep at it, and before long you’ll get there!

    Add this to your CSS stylesheet (go to Dashboard/Appearance/Custom Design/CSS)

    .site-title {width: 100%;}

    Right now your title, which has the class “site-title” is set to ~43%, so it’s forcing the title to become a block. Changing the width to be 100% allows it to go full width.

    Good luck!
