Help! Plug-in activation caused site to crash, can't access admin panel

    I am editing a website for a friend and tried to install a LinkedIn plugin. I can no longer log-in to that site ( nor can I access the admin panel. This is all that comes up for any URL related to this site: Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_post_type_support() in /users/ on line 61
    I only have the log-in information for the admin panel. I’m assuming there’s a webmaster/super admin login, but I don’t have it yet (emailed my friend for it). Is there anything I can do?

    There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install plugins. Hence you cannot be referring to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. This forum is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM.

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.COM and you are posting to the wrong support forum. Your support questions must be posted to the correct support site for your software and that is here http://wordpress.ORG/support/

    As noted above you need to make friends at WordPress.ORG – you also need to get the FTP log-in info. from your friend – you have a common problem
