I’m new to wordpress, I have created a blog and in the options enabled all the checkboxes in the options>reading tab for each article, i.e.
    Categories
    Tags
    Comment count
    Add to Stumbleupon
    Add to Del.icio.us
    Add to Digg.com
    Add to Reddit

There is no sign of any bookmarking links on my blog however. Anybody know how to fix this or maybe replace it with a 3rd party option or plugin?

    Jellyblog,

You will see that those options come under “Enhanced Feed”. You will see all those social bookmarking options in your feed.

We can’t use plugins at wordpress.com but you can add the social bookmarks to each post manually to display on your blog:

    jellyblog,
i forgot to tell you something.

feedburner states clearly that the options don’t work for wordpress.com platform. so, there’s no way to fix it – to have it in your blog, i mean. only your feed will have it – that’s better than nothing at all, right? :D

Thanks for that. It is barely better than nothing and I have added an addthis toolbar in a text wiget (top left in menu) on this page http://jellyblog.wordpress.com/

It’s a really disappointment that wordpress.com doesn’t allow for dynamic social bookmarking code within post though, and the only workaround is to generate static code specific to each page.

    vijaysblog what do you mean?

    “Jellyblog,

You will see that those options come under “Enhanced Feed”. You will see all those social bookmarking options in your feed. ” I have all those options turned on but I don’t see the options in my post or feed.
