    Thanks for reading!! My 1000px wide images are showing up in my blog as 640px wide. I’ve chose CUSTOMIZE… CSS… and set width to 1024px but that isn’t working. I’ve cleared my cache with ‘command-R’, I’ve deleted the post and reposted it, and I’ve gone into each individual picture in the post and changed the setting to 100% and chose “original size” but still no luck. I am upgraded to the Premium package. I also don’t want more than one column, where can I find the setting to make it 1 column? Because maybe that’s the problem?

    The blog I need help with is micheleireys.wordpress.com.

    Hi there,
    Do not create a duplicate thread please as this one will be moved to the CSS Forum for you where you can get the CSS editing help you need.

    Thank you. Do I need to find the new thread and “subscribe” to it?

    I understand you asked my not to dup this post as you have moved it to the CSS forum, but I can’t find it there? Haven’t heard anything on this problem. I also sent a request for help on this through the support contact us area, received a confirmation email about it, but nothing since. It’s been a couple days… feeling kinda lost. It seems like this theme was suppose to work best with only one wide column, but instead I have room for 3? Is there a place in the theme where I can choose 1 column? and what about the secondary sidebar? no widgets are in it but maybe it’s holding a place for them and I need to delete it too? Appreciate any help.

    Hi there, you need to add some CSS to widen some of the divs in the theme to be able to post 1024px wide images and then in the “Content Width” field below the CSS edit area, make sure and enter 1024px. Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete the informational text and add the following CSS.

    .entry-header, .entry-content, .entry-summary, .entry-meta {
        max-width: 1024px;
    }

    Any images that you insert, that are over 1024px in width, and are inserted at “full size” will then be sized to 1024 in the posts and pages in your site.
