Help with Sight theme

    Hi,
    I am a complete and utter noob with this, so I need some help. There are 3 things I need to do:

    1. Remove the grey search box at the top right corner of the page; it is redundant and the search widget is in a more user-friendly position. There must be some quick easy CSS code to delete it?

    2. Resize the header so that it fits properly where it is supposed to. I’ve tried making the image I use larger but it keeps resizing stupidly when updating. So I think its a CSS issue.

    3. Make the tagline (“Institutional evolution…”) a slightly larger font. For some reason the tagline font is tied to the body/paragraph font, and this is as large as it gets. Again, is there a nice CSS fix?

    Any help is greatly appreciated,
    Trent

    The blog I need help with is thedegeneratestate.wordpress.com.

    to get rid of the top search bar, use this:
    .header-search {
    visibility: hidden;

    #3. That line is currently a part of your image, not one that can be resized in css. The tagline does have its own selector #site-description so if it were presented as part of the theme it could be styled. But as currently displayed it is a part of the image.

    Looks like you switched to the Twenty Eleven theme to use the flexible header size option that is built in to that theme. It looks really great!
