    Hi. I am having trouble with changing my fonts via typekit. I read the instructions on the site itself, but I don’t know why I can’t apply the fonts to my site. This is my site address and the theme I’m currently using:
    http://xoxocriseldalovestowrite.wordpress.com

    theme: vigilance

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is xoxocriseldalovestowrite.wordpress.com.

    Which fonts are you wanting to change?

    It’s the heading and the text…and one more thing, the fonts got bigger. It’s like there’s something wrong with the layout, i’m really not sure. I tried viewing my entries using other browsers and themes. Unfortunately I couldn’t revert it to the original “layout”. Can you please try to view it? Thank you.

    It looks to me like you have the Custom CSS upgrade, yes?

    The base font size is set in body and changing it to a smaller size will change most all font sizes in the entire blog. The 14px is the font size, and the 1.5 is line height. The font families listed here are the ones in the post bodies.

    body {
    font: 14px/1.5 Georgia,Times,Serif;
    }

    The post titles are set here as far as the font family

    h1, h2, h3 {
    font-family: Rockwell,Georgia,Palatino Linotype,Palatino,"Times New Roman",Times,serif;
    }

    Did you by chance paste the entire stylesheet into the CSS edit window? If so, that does not work well at wordpress.COM. Delete everything from the CSS edit window, make sure “add to existing…” is selected and save the stylesheet to get you back to the original.

    Then what you want to do is to only put into the CSS edit window the specific selectors and the specific declarations that you are changing. Putting the entire stylesheet into the CSS edit window can mess things up considerably.

    Hi, i JUST migrated from windows LIVE space to wordpress – and finding this real hard!!

    I changed the default twenty-ten theme to notepad – cos i wanted a wider width column AND ariel font.
    Now i want to change minor things (e.g. font size etc.) or learn how to change font type so ican change the one on twenty-ten. (in fact , i wnat to change many things but looks like the tempalte is just fixed and there are only 107 templates??)

    I have registered on typekit, and got the “ID” and i clicked “Update ID” but then the page is blank on the right after that…. how do i add new fonts??

    I really admire all those out there non-techies, how do u make ur blog pretty! it was so much easier with windows live!

    Thanks so much to anyone who can help!

    Thank you so much! It’s back. However, I still need to learn how to add a few tweakings. I want my blog to look similar to this one: http://thirstythought.wordpress.com.

    How do I change my fonts and layout?
